What the link does
If your organisation keeps its books in Scrada, Serve POS can send every settled tab and direct sale to your daily receipts book there as a receipt. No more typing over the report, no CSV to import.
Only sales from the moment you connect are sent. Earlier sales are not.
Connect in a few minutes
Connecting takes four steps:
- In Scrada, create an API key. You get a key and a password with it. Also note your company ID.
- In Serve POS, go to Settings → Integrations → Scrada, fill in the company ID, API key and password, and tap Connect. The password is stored encrypted on our server, never on the tablet.
- Once the first receipts have arrived in Scrada, start the Scrada Receipts integration there and link the VAT rates to your categories.
- Scrada books a day's receipts in the daily receipts book once that day is over.
The documentation has the details, including tips for sales without VAT, tokens, and evenings that run past midnight.
Keep track of what was sent
Under Management → Accounting: Scrada you see per day what Serve POS sold next to what was sent, and any receipt that could not be sent. Choose a day to see each receipt with the time it was sold and sent, and whether Scrada has booked it.
Each sale has the same ticket code in Scrada and in the payment details of the report, so you can find it in both.
If a tab is cancelled after Scrada already booked that day, the treasurer gets a notice to correct it in Scrada. If Scrada stops accepting the connection details, for example after a new API key, the connection pauses. Connect again and the sales made in the meantime are sent after all.
Beta and price
The Scrada link is new and still in beta. Check the first days in Scrada and tell us what is not right.
It is free during the trial period. Afterwards it is the Accounting link add-on: €2 per month or €20 per year, on top of your Serve POS subscription (€3 per month or €30 per year). All prices exclude VAT.
