Android smartphones and tablets
Serve POS runs on any Android device with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or later — that covers virtually every Android phone and tablet still in use today. Download it for free from Google Play.
The app is fully responsive and adapts to any screen size. A tablet gives more workspace for the product grid, but a smartphone works just as well for quick sales and tab management on the go.

Windows 10 and Windows 11
The Windows version runs on any 64-bit PC, laptop, or tablet with Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) or Windows 11. Install it from the Microsoft Store.
Windows is a good fit if your venue already has a PC at the bar, or if you prefer a larger screen. A touchscreen PC or Surface tablet works especially well.
On Windows touchscreen devices, Serve POS includes a built-in virtual keyboard. This gives you a clean, responsive keyboard whenever you need to enter text — without relying on the Windows on-screen keyboard.

No special hardware required
Serve POS doesn't require a dedicated POS terminal or any special hardware. Install it on a device you already have — a spare tablet, a bar PC, or a shared smartphone.
The only optional hardware is a card terminal (SumUp Solo or myPOS) if you want to accept card payments. Everything else — Bancontact QR, bank app, cash, and tokens — works with the device alone.
